3. Carefully remove the second mylar strip located along the inside bottom edge of the document
feeder jam access door.

Install replacement document feeder mylar strips
Use the following guidelines when you install the replacement mylar strips:

Skin oils on the mylar strips can cause paper pickup problems. Wash your hands before handling
the replacement mylar strips.
●
When handling the replacement mylar strips, do not touch the adhesive portion of the strips.
●
Make sure to firmly press down along the mylar strips to adhere them to the document feeder
when installing them.
