2. Release two tabs, and then slightly rotate the cover away from the scanner.
TIP: Slightly lift up on the control panel bottom cover (callout 1) to give the front cover
clearance.

3. Continue to carefully rotate (callout 1 and callout 2) the cover away from the scanner to remove it.
TIP: When most of the cover is released, carefully pull back on the cover to release the end tab
that fits under the scanner right cover (callout 3).
