HP Web Jetadmin
HP Web Jetadmin is a simple, Web-based peripheral management
utility for remotely installing, configuring, and managing a wide
variety of HP and non-HP network peripherals. With advanced
security features, you can be assured that HP Web Jetadmin and
your network-connected peripherals are well protected. Through a
standard Web browser, you can:
• Manage supplies, configure devices, conduct remote
diagnostics, update firmware, and organize devices into groups.
• Solve potential problems before they impact user productivity.
• Set up automatic e-mail device alerts and real-time status reports.
• Download the latest device plug-ins, language packs, or application plug-ins without reinstalling.
• Implement Secure Socket Layer (SSL) and Simple Network Management Protocol (SNMP) v 3.0 for even
greater security.
Note HP Web Jetadmin is not included with the MFP installation software but can be downloaded for free
from the HP Web site at www.hp.com/go/webjetadmin.
Easy Printer Care
Designed for end-users and printer administrators, HP Easy Printer Care Software is the simplest way to monitor
and maintain up to 15 HP devices. Easily view the status of one or all of your HP devices, set up device and
supply alerts, and reorder supplies with just a few clicks. The software is free and may be downloaded at
www.hp.com/go/easyprintercare.
Advanced networking compatibility
With an open EIO slot and USB port, the MFP is ready for advanced
networking when you are. HP offers wireless networking with the
HP Jetdirect ew2400 external Fast Ethernet wired and wireless 802.11g
print server, Gigabit speeds with the HP Jetdirect 625n Gigabit Ethernet
internal print server, and robust security for next-generation networks with
the HP Jetdirect 635n IPv6/IPsec internal print server. For more
