During the Memory Count hold down
the SELECT (check mark) key until the
three LEDs are illuminated. Press the UP
arrow until the desired message is
displayed, then press the SELECT key.
Cold Restart will clear the configuration
information. Print a Configuration Page,
if possible, before attempting a Cold
Reset.
NVRAM reset During the Memory Count hold down
the DOWN arrow until the three LEDs are
illuminated. Press the UP arrow once,
and then the MENU key once. Press
the UP arrow until the display says
NVRAM INIT. Press the SELECT (check
mark) key.
Always attempt to print a Configuration
Page and complete a Cold Reset before
attempting this procedure. An NVRAM
Init procedure clears the serial number,
event log, and network settings, and
restores all factory settings.
Service PIN information Press the MENU key, then scroll to the
SERVICE menu item.
For the HP LaserJet 2410 enter:
10 2410 04
For the HP LaserJet 2420 enter:
10 2420 04
For the HP LaserJet 2430 enter:

Diagnostics Press the MENU key, then scroll to the
DIAGNOSTICS menu item.
In the DIAGNOSTICS menu, you may do
the following:

Print Event Log

Show Event Log

Paper Path Test
Ping Test This test checks out the Embedded
JetDirect's ability to communicate with
other devices on the network.
Press MENU, CONFIGURE DEVICE, I/
O EMBEDDED JETDIRECT MENU,
DIAGNOSTICS, PING TEST
Select Destination IP Address (select a
working IP address)
Select Packet Size (64)
Timeout (1 second)
Count (16)
Print Results (Yes)
Execute (Yes)
