Clear jams
When clearing jams, be very careful not to tear jammed paper. If a small piece of paper remains in
the product, it could cause additional jams.
NOTE: After removing the jammed paper, open and close a product door to clear the control panel
jam message.
Jam locations
Jams can occur in these locations:

1 Document feeder
2 Output bin
3 Rear door
4 Input tray
Loose toner might remain in the product after a jam. This problem typically resolves itself after a few
sheets have been printed.
