7. If you are printing on heavy, embossed, or perforated paper, use the manual feed feature and feed
sheets one at a time.
8. Verify that the tray is configured correctly for the paper type and size.
a. On the product control panel, press the OK button.
b. Open the following menus:

System Setup
●
Paper Setup
c. Verify the tray is configured for the paper type and size.
9. Make sure the printing environment is within recommended specifications.
Clear jams in Tray 1
1. If most of the sheet of paper is visible in the tray,
slowly pull the jammed paper out of the product
using both hands.
If most of the sheet of paper has been pulled
inside the product or no paper is visible, continue
with the following steps.
2. Open the front door.
