11. Remove the display bezel (3). Display bezels are available using the spare part numbers
447998-001 (for dual lamp display assemblies) and 447997-001 (for single lamp display
assemblies).
NOTE: See Camera module on page 48 for camera module replacement instructions. See
Display inverter on page 50 for display inverter replacement instructions.
12. If it is necessary to replace the display panel, remove the four Phillips PM2.5×8.0 screws (1) and
the two Phillips PM2.5×6.0 screws (2) that secure the display panel to the display enclosure.
13. Remove the display panel (3). Display panels are available using the following spare part
numbers:

447988-001 (17.0-inch, WXGA+, TFT, dual lamp, BrightView display assembly)
●
447987-001 (17.0-inch, SXGA+, TFT, single lamp, BrightView display assembly)
●
447986-001 (17.0-inch, WXGA+, TFT, single lamp, BrightView display assembly)
14. If it is necessary to replace the display hinges, remove the two Phillips PM2.0×3.0 screws (1) that
secure each display hinge to the display panel.
15. Remove the display hinges (2).
