Installing a Retail Version of an
Operating System
A Windows operating system provided on the notebook or
on a CD is optimized by HP to improve overall system
performance. HP recommends that you not install a retail version
in place of this operating system.

CAUTION: Installing a retail version of the operating system will void
your notebook warranty.
