User’s Guide - The HP PhotoSmart Photo Printer User’s Guide includes additional
setup information (in case you have any questions). It also explains how to use
your new photo printer to get the expected results.
HP Photo Printing Sampler Kit - To help you get started using your photo
printer, this kit contains some sample HP PhotoSmart papers, as well as instruc-
tions for printing a sample project.
Online Help - The HP PhotoSmart photo printer’s online Help system is your
complete guide to using the photo printer. You can view Help from the Windows
95 Start menu by choosing Programs, HP PhotoSmart, Photo Printer Help File.
Toolbox - The HP PhotoSmart photo printer’s Toolbox provides printer status
and “how-to” information as well as access to maintenance functions.
Additional Software - Your HP PhotoSmart photo printer includes software that
you can use for creating projects to print on your photo printer. For instructions
on installing this software, see the software’s documentation.

Use the Performance Page to be sure the photo printer is set up and printing correctly. In
the future, you may also use the Performance Page to determine if a photo cartridge is out
of ink or needs to be cleaned.
ü Double-click the HP Photo Printer
Toolbox icon on your Windows 95
desktop.
ü Select the Maintenance tab.
ü Click Print a Performance Page.
Tip: You can use the Toolbox How Do I... and The Problem Is... tabs to find help any time
you have a question about your photo printer.
