Before removing the speaker, follow these steps:
1. Prepare the computer for disassembly (see Preparation for disassembly on page 32).
2. Remove the bottom cover (see Bottom cover on page 32).
3. Remove the battery (see Battery on page 33).
4. Remove the system board (see System board on page 44).
Remove the speaker:
1. Remove the Phillips M2.0 × 2.0 screw (1) that secures the speaker to the computer.
2. Lift the side of the speaker up, and then pull it toward the left to remove it (2). When installing the
speaker, be sure that the rubber cap in installed on the right end of the speaker (3) .
Reverse this procedure to install the speaker.

To remove the power connector cable, use this procedure and illustration.
