1. Disconnect the following cables from the system board:
(1) Power connector cable
(2) Antennas from WWAN module (select models only)
(3) Speaker cable
(4) Antennas from WLAN module (select models only)
(5) Display cable (ZIF)
(6) USB cable from USB board (ZIF)
(7) Fan cable
(8) Keyboard cable (ZIF)
(9) Card reader cable (ZIF) and tape
(10) Touchpad cable (ZIF)
(11) Backlight cable (ZIF)
(12) Fingerprint sensor cable (ZIF)
(13) Hard drive cable
2. Remove the four Phillips M2.0 × 4.0 screws (1) that secure the system board to the computer.
3. Remove the three Phillips M2.0 × 2.5 screws (2) that secure the system board to the computer.
4. Remove the broad head Phillips M2.5 × 2.5 screw (3) that secures the system board to the computer.
