■ The 10/100 Mbps RJ-45 twisted-pair ports are compatible with the
IEEE 802.3u 100Base-TX and IEEE 802.3 Type 10Base-T stan-
dards. All ports include the HP Auto-MDIX feature, which allows
the use of either straight-through or crossover cables for any
twisted-pair connection.

The Switch 408 complies with these safety standards:
■ EN60950 / IEC 60950
■ CSA/NRTL (CSA 22.2 No. 60950 & UL 60950)
