➋ Prepare for installation.
To avoid personal injury or product damage, review
the installation guidelines on the next page.
➌ Verify selftest by connecting the power cord.
➍ Install mounting brackets.
➎ Mount the switch and connect the power cord.
➏ (Optional) Connect console cable.
➐ Configure (minimal configuration).
➑ Connect network cables.

By default, the switch is configured to acquire an IP address config-
uration from a DHCP or Bootp server.
