Open the expansion slot latch.
5. Disconnect any cables attached to the expansion board.
6. Remove the retaining screw.
7. Remove the expansion board.
To replace the component, reverse the removal procedure.
Battery-backed write cache procedures
Two types of procedures are provided for the BBWC option:
• Removal and replacement of failed components:
o Removing the cache module ("Removing the BBWC cache module" on page 60)
o Removing the battery pack ("Removing the BBWC battery pack" on page 61)
