• Get better readability with background removal. This setting is useful when the original is on colored paper
or is two-sided. Removing the background can prevent blurring or streaking in the output image.
• Automatically detect and remove blank pages in scanned output with blank page suppression.
• Choose from three color modes: color, black-and-white, and grayscale.
• Remove colors from scanned documents or images by filtering out a color channel (red, green, or blue).
Color drop-out can improve the accuracy of optical character recognition (OCR) results, enhance
readability, and reduce the size of scanned files.
