Service work may only be car-
ried out by HSM Customer
Service or by the service tech-
nicians of our contractual part-
ners.
Take care that the mains plug can be
reached easily.
Before plugging in the mains plug, check
that the the voltage and frequency of your
mains supply are in accordance with the
speci cations on the type plate.
Make sure no liquid is spilled on or in the
device.
The device must not be set up near a
heating element or another source of
warmth.
The ventilation slots must not be blocked
or covered and there must be at least
5 cm space between the device and any
wall or furniture.
The Pro Pack 425 is intended exclusively
for the manufacture of packing cushions
from cardboard packaging.
We provide a one year warranty for the
machine. The warranty period is 6 months
when used in multiple shifts. This warranty
excludes wear, damage due to improper
handling, natural depreciation, and actions
taken by third parties.
Read the operating instruc-
tions before switching on the
document shredder. Save these
instructions for later use. Follow
all warnings and instructions
marked on the product!

Do not reach into the paper
feed slot.
Risk of injury from being
pulled in!
Keep long hair, loose articles
of clothing, ties, scarves, jewel-
lery, etc. away from feed open-
ing. Material with the tendency
to form loops, e.g. tapes, strap-
ping material, etc. must not be
processed.
Keep product out of the reach
of children. The Pro Pack 425
should be operated only with an
operator in attendance.
If there is damage or the de-
vice is not functioning properly,
switch it off, pull out the plug
from the mains and call cus-
tomer service.

Transportation equipment (e.g. pallet
trucks) must be suitable for a machine
weight of 170 kg.
When moving the machine, note that it
may topple over.
The machine may only be placed in dry
rooms on a hard, level oor – not on car-
pets. The oor load on each roller is ap-
proximately 45 kg.
Observe the instructions for unpacking.
