    What to do if my HSM securio C16 Paper Shredder has a paper jam?

      If your HSM Paper Shredder is experiencing a paper jam, it could be due to feeding too much paper at once. The cutting unit should run in reverse to push the paper back out. If needed, press the reverse button “R” to remove the paper. You can also press the reverse button “R” for longer than 3 seconds to shred the remaining paper. Try feeding paper in successively. Additionally, activate the automatic start/stop and let the cutting unit run without any paper in it.

      Malfunctions can occur in the cutting system of your HSM Paper Shredder if the shredded material container is too full. Empty the cut material container immediately. Check the filling level in the shredded material container regularly.
