      If IrDA connection is not possible with your HTC Cell Phone, make sure the IrDA port settings on the Notebook or the other device are properly set. Also, ensure the IrDA function is activated on both the Pocket PC and the other device. Check for obstructions between the two devices and ensure they are within the appropriate distance. Inspect the IrDA window for breaks or cracks. Replace the Bezel or Main Board if necessary. Once the defective part has been identified, verify the symptom can be duplicated.
