3. Before you turn on your phone
1 Take the back cover off
Put your fingertip into the
narrow opening at the top
of the phone. Lift off the top
left side of the back cover,
and then push it to the right
to remove the back cover
completely.
2 Take the battery out
Put your fingertip into the
small groove located at the
right side of the battery
compartment, and then lift
the battery out.
3 Put the SIM card in
When inserting the SIM card,
make sure its cut-off corner
is facing out and the gold
chip is facing down.
Slide the SIM card all the
way into the SIM card slot.
4 Put the battery back in
Peel off the thin film on
the back of the battery
first.
Line up the battery’s
copper contacts with the
connectors inside the
battery compartment.
Gently push the battery into
place.
