Locking a message
You can lock important messages to avoid deleting them by mistake. Deleting a thread
does not remove the locked messages in it.
1. On the home screen, touch .
2. In the list of message threads, touch a contact name or phone number to view
the conversation thread.
3. Touch and hold the message you wish to lock.
4. From the displayed option menu, choose Lock .
Deleting a message
1. On the home screen, touch .
2. In the list of message threads, touch a contact name or phone number to view
the conversation thread.
3. When you are done, touch >
More > Delete .
4. Select the messages you wish to delete.
5. Touch
Delete .
6. Touch Delete .
Deleting a thread
1. On the home screen, touch .
2. In the list of message threads, touch and hold the thread you wish to delete.
3. From the displayed option menu, choose
Delete messages .
4. Touch Delete .
Modifying message settings
1. On the home screen, touch .
2. In the list of message threads, touch .
3. Touch
Settings .
4. Change the message tone, manage SIM card messages, and more.
