4.14 How is my phone's ROM allocated?

Partitions of the flash memory (ROM) (similar to a hard disk on a computer)
Boot and
operating system
data backup
partition
Stores the boot data OS backup data.
The data in this partition is used when you restore the
phone to its factory settings.
Partition
reserved for
HOTA updates
This partition is reserved for HOTA updates.
The device provider and operator send update and patch
files to this partition.
This partition is used for the Android OS.
Partition for the
internal storage
This partition is used when your phone does not have a
microSD card inserted and when you are using
applications that must run on a microSD card, for
example, camera, Bluetooth, and data synchronization
with computers. With this partition, you can use all
functions provided on the Android without an additional
microSD card.

under Settings >
Storage >
INTERNAL
STORAGE.
This partition is used when the OS or applications are
running. This partition also stores the files for applications
you install.

using a
third-party
application
This partition includes the space occupied by file partition
tables, space occupied by flag tables of flash material bad
blocks, and space lost due to formatting.
These partitions are for your reference only. Partition sizes vary according to the product customized
version.
4.15 How do I check the available storage in the phone
memory and microSD card?
On the home screen, touch Settings > Storage to view the storage details.
Your phone's internal storage is determined during production, and microSD cards are not
supported.
