Setting the Delivery Acknowledgement
Select Menu > Messages > Message Settings > Delivery Ack. You can set whether to
receive a delivery report after a message is sent.
Setting the Deferred Delivery
Select Menu > Messages > Message Settings > Deferred Delivery to set the message
sending delay: Immediate, After 12 Hours, After 1 Day, or After 3 Days.
Setting the Validity Period
Choose Menu > Messages > Message Settings > Validity Period. Then select items to set
the validity period of messages.
Setting the New Message Alert
Select Menu > Messages > Message Settings > New Message Alert. Then select items to
set the time for alerting new messages.
Setting the Memory In Use
Select Menu > Messages > Message Settings > Memory In Use to select phone or UIM
card memory to be used. Applicable only if a UIM card is available.
Viewing the Memory Status
Select Menu > Messages > Message Settings > Memory Status to view the memory
status.
