5 Install the CPE outdoors.
The CPE can be installed on a pole or wall. Perform the corresponding steps based on the place where it will be
installed.
Method 1: Install the CPE on a pole
Install the CPE vertically on the base. Make sure that the network cable hangs naturally around the network port. If the CPE is
placed upside down or inclined, water may enter the CPE and damage it. The lowest point of the outdoor network cable cannot be
the network port on the CPE or the place where the network cable routes indoors. Otherwise, water may enter into the CPE
network port or the room indoors.
