4 Installing an Infrared Waterproof Tube-Type IPC II

4.2 Installation Mode
The infrared waterproof tube-type IPC II can be installed on the ceiling or wall. You can
select an installation mode based on site requirements. If the IPC is installed on a concrete
wall, install the expansion bolts before installing the bracket. (The installation holes of
expansion bolts must be consistent with those of the bracket.) If the IPC is installed on a
wooden wall, start from Step 4 in section 4.3 "Installation Procedure" and use self-tapping
screws to directly install the bracket.
The wall where the bracket is installed must be able to bear at least three times of the total
weight of the bracket and the IPC.
4.3 Installation Procedure
The following installation procedure assumes that the IPC is installed on the ceiling. You can follow the
same procedure to install the IPC on the wall.
Step 1 Take out the positioning label delivered with the IPC and stick the label on the ceiling or wall
where the IPC will be installed, as shown in Figure 4-1.
