• Update overnight: Touch or > Settings (this device)(depending on your
device model), and enable Auto-download over Wi-Fi and Update overnight.
To disable automatic updates, touch or > Settings (this device)(depending on your
device model) on the Software update screen, then disable Auto-download over Wi-Fi.
Update the Parameter Version of Your Phone Online
The parameter version may update operator parameters, time zone parameters, and device
parameters, among others, and oers optimizations to functions, including the mobile
network, power consumption and performance, and feature compatibility. Your phone will
prompt you to install the update to have these parameters automatically adjusted for a
better experience.
Automatic update
1 Go to Settings > About phone > Parameter version, touch
, and make sure that
Auto-update parameters is enabled.
2 When a new parameter version is detected, your phone will automatically download and
update it.
You will be prompted if the phone needs to be restarted for the update to take eect.
Manual update
1 Go to Settings > About phone > Parameter version, touch , and disable Auto-
update parameters.
2 When a new parameter version is detected, a message will be displayed. Follow the
onscreen instructions to complete the update.
