10 Security settings
10.1 Enabling the SIM card PIN
1. Open the Settings list.
2. Touch Location & security > SIM/RUIM card lock settings .
3. Touch Lock SIM/RUIM card , and enter the default SIM card PIN
using the onscreen keyboard.
4. Touch OK .
Emergency calls can be placed at any time, without entering a
PIN.
10.2 Changing the SIM card PIN
1. Open the Settings list.
2. Touch Location & security > SIM/RUIM card lock settings .
3. Touch Change SIM/RUIM PIN , and enter the old SIM card PIN
using the onscreen keyboard.
4. Enter the new SIM card PIN, and then touch OK .

2. Touch About tablet > Status .
3. On the Status screen, touch Battery status .
