  If your Hubbell Water Heater isn't producing hot water, start by checking the circuit breaker at the source and reset it if it has tripped. Also, reset the high limit switch. Loose wires can also cause this issue, so tighten them, referring to the torque chart in Section VI for proper torque. Check the heating element by using an Amprobe around each wire; the ampere reading should match the nameplate figure. If the line voltage is low, have an electrician inspect the source electrical system. Lastly, test the thermostat by moving the dial through its full range; a distinct ‘click’ should be heard. If not, replace the thermostat.
