Front Axle
Spindle pivot lubrication fittings (A),
Figure 12, tie rod end fittings (B) and
front spring seat fittings (C) should be
lubricated with viscous chassis lubricant
every 1,000 miles.
Drag Link
The drag link is provided with two
lubrication fittings, one at the rear, Figure
13, and one at the front. These fittings
should be lubricated with viscous chassis
lubricant every 1,000 miles.
Brakes
Check fluid in brake master cylinder
every 1,000 miles and add sufficient Gen-
uine Hudson Hydraulic Brake Fluid to
bring level up to within one-quarter inch
of the top. See Figure 14.
Use Genuine Hudson Hydraulic Brake
Fluid No. 5, except where continuous
sub-zero temperatures are encountered, in
which case No. 1 fluid should be used.
Genuine Hudson Hydraulic Brake Fluid is
available through Hudson dealers. Never
use substitutes.
