Lighting Your Grill
DANGER
Failure to open lid while igniting the grill’s burners or not waiting five minutes to allow gas to clear if the grill
does not light, may
result in an explosion, which could cause serious bodily injury or death.
WARNING
Never stand with your head directly over the grill when preparing to light the main burners, to prevent possible
bodily injury.
Igniter Lighting the Grill
WARNING:
Attempting to light the burner with the lid closed may cause an explosion. Make sure there are no
obstructions of airflow to the
gas unit. Spiders and insects can nest and clog the burner/venture tube at the
orifice. A clogged burner tube can lead to a fire
beneath the appliance.
1.
Read instructions before lighting your grill.
2.
Open lid during lighting.
3.
Open LP cylinder valve.
4.
Push control knob in and turn the knob to the left to “HIGH” position. You will hear a clicking sound
from all burners. Keep pressing the knob until the burner is lit.
5.
If ignition does not occur in 5 seconds, turn the burner control off, wait 5 minutes for gas to clear away,
and repeat the lighting procedure.
NOTE: If ignitor does not work, follow Match Lighting instructions.

the grill and cause a
fire.
