Using Your Humidifier
Initial Setup and Operation

1. Remove the Hunter
®
Evaporative Humidier from its packaging.
2. Use the housing handle to carry the unit to where it will be run.
3. Place the humidier on a hard, at, water resistant surface. Always place the
humidier at least six (6) inches away from walls and sources of heat.
4. Remove the tank by pulling the tank handle away from the unit until the clip
at the top releases, then pull the tank upward and out. Figure 1.
5. Turn the tank upside down and remove the tank cap by turning counter-
clockwise. Figure 2.
6. Remove the Demineralization Cartridge from it’s packaging and drop it into
the tank. Figure 3.
7. Fill the tank with clean, cool tap water and replace the tank cap by turning it
clockwise until tight.
Caution: Never ll the humidier with hot water.
8. Turn the tank upright and place it back into the Base at an angle and then
push the tank handle towards the base until the tank clip snaps into place.

9. Plug the unit into a wall outlet and start the humdier. See “Controls” on page
