4. Check System: Some heat pump systems are equipped with the
ability to check system performance, indicated by the presence of an “L”
wire attached to the backplate. This icon will ash on screen to alert the
user that the heat pump is reporting a problem with the system. It may
be necessary to have the heat pump checked or serviced by an HVAC
technician.
