Reset Contractions trace baseline
1. Check belt tension
2. Press Contractions Zero key on control panel
Trace annotation
1. To print an annotation message:
a. Use Menu key (left of screen) to scroll through
message list
b.When desired message displayed, press
Clinical Event Marker key (on control panel)
2. To print marker without text, press
Clinical Event Marker key
Clear an alarm
1. Confirm cause & check fetal condition
2, Press soft-key indicated on screen to
reset alarm
3. After reset, alarm is still active if
condition persists, alarm will re-trigger
after user selected delay
4. To change alarm modes / settings refer
to ‘Change System Settings’
Fast-feed paper
1. Switch printer o - automatically
performs short fast-feed
2. For additional feed with printer o:

Connect the power lead and switch the unit on. Verify display, paper, and chart speed.

Connect Transducers

Connect the U/S and Toco transducers, noting plug/socket color coding for correct placement.

Transducer Positioning

Position transducers with gel, adjust U/S for clear fetal sounds, and select FHR audio for twins.

Set Baseline and Start Printing

Press 'Contractions Zero' to set baseline and Printer On/Off key to start/stop printing.

System Settings Configuration

Access and Modify Settings

Switch printer off, use Menu and Volume keys to select/change functions, and save or exit.

Troubleshooting Common Issues

Poor FHR Trace

Improve FHR trace by adjusting transducer position and ensuring sufficient gel on the face.

Poor Contractions Trace

Address poor contraction trace by checking belt tension, re-zeroing, and adjusting transducer position.
