How to attach the wand to my Husky 1550 PSL Pressure Washer?
    • M
      Mr. Alvin WhiteAug 22, 2025
To attach the wand to your Husky Pressure Washer, apply moderate downward pressure on the wand (in the direction of the trigger) while simultaneously twisting the wand a 1/4 turn counterclockwise. Ensure the two tabs on the end of the wand slide all the way in before twisting. If it doesn't work, remove the o-ring from the end of the wand and try attaching it without the o-ring. If the wand attaches without the o-ring, you'll need to replace the o-ring.

Why does my Husky Pressure Washer trip the circuit breaker?
    • T
      Terry SantosAug 29, 2025
Your Husky Pressure Washer might be tripping the circuit breaker due to several reasons: * **Circuit overload:** Ensure the circuit is rated at 15 amps or greater and that the unit is plugged into a dedicated circuit. * **Extension cord issues:** Use the correct extension cord as recommended in the owner’s manual; a cord that's too long or with too small a wire gauge can cause problems. * **Nozzle blockage:** A partially blocked nozzle can cause excessive pressure. Clean the nozzle as instructed. * **Excessive pressure:** Clean the Nozzle.

    • M
      Mark RamirezDec 1, 2025
If your Husky Pressure Washer has low, irregular pressure, or isn't building maximum pressure, consider these possibilities: * Ensure the faucet is fully open to provide a full volume of water. * Clean the screen filter if it's clogged. * Make sure there are no kinks in the garden hose and that it's laid out flat, not wrapped on a storage wheel. * Shorten the garden hose length, keeping it within the recommended maximum (25-50 feet for city water, 30 feet for well water). * Clean the nozzle if it's clogged. * Let the pressure washer run with the gun trigger depressed and the wand removed until a steady stream of water is released to remove air from the pump. * Attach the Click-N-Clean wand to the front of the gun, as high pressure is created with the wand, not the gun itself...
