Questions and Answers

Why does my Husky 1750 motor stop and start?
    • T
      trevorhuangAug 13, 2025
The Husky Pressure Washer motor might not start or may stop due to several reasons. It could be a tripped or unreset GFCI. In this case, plug the power cord into an electrical outlet and firmly press the reset button on the GFCI. Another cause could be a tripped circuit breaker or blown fuse; try disconnecting other loads on the same circuit and reset the breaker or replace the fuse. A loose plug, motor thermal overload or using an unadvised extension cord could also be the issue. Allow the unit a cool down period of approximately 20 minutes before restarting.

What to do if my Husky 1750 Pressure Washer circuit breaker trips?
    • S
      stephanie71Aug 17, 2025
If the circuit breaker trips or a fuse blows, it could be due to a circuit overload. Ensure the circuit is rated 15 amps or greater and disconnect other loads on the circuit. An extension cord that is too long or has too small wire size can also cause this, so use the proper extension cord as recommended in the Operator's Manual. A partially blocked nozzle or excessive pressure could also be responsible. Clean the nozzles as instructed in Section 5.2 or reduce the pressure using the pressure adjustment knob.

Why is my Husky Pressure Washer not building maximum pressure?
    • D
      Debra StevensAug 21, 2025
If the motor is running, but the pump isn't building maximum pressure, there could be several reasons. First, make sure the faucet is fully open. If the unit was stored in freezing temperatures, thaw it out completely, including the hose, gun, and wand. Check if the water inlet screen is clogged and clean it if necessary (see section 5.4). There might be air in the pump; let the pressure washer run with the gun open and wand removed until a steady stream of water is released. Ensure the adjustable pressure knob is set to the maximum position (see Section 4.2).

What to do if my Husky Pressure Washer GFCI trips repeatedly?
    • M
      Michael HansonAug 25, 2025
If the GFCI trips repeatedly, it may be due to incorrect voltage (see Section 3.3) or an internal short. In the case of an internal short, call the Customer Service Department.

How to make my Husky Pressure Washer intake chemicals?
    • A
      Angela BrownAug 28, 2025
If your Husky Pressure Washer isn't intaking chemicals, ensure the injection tube is securely inserted into the machine. If the tube is cracked or split, replace it. Make sure the nozzle is set to low pressure. A blocked nozzle or a clogged injection tube strainer can also prevent chemical intake; clean the nozzle (see Section 5.2) or the strainer. Also, dried chemicals in the injector can cause this issue; dissolve them by running warm water through the injection tube.
