Do not operate in confined spaces. Work in daylight. Always be sure of your footing.
Reconnect spark plug wire, move shift lever to N, place throttle to FAST, and pull starter handle.
Move throttle control to desired speed. Tine movement begins when drive control bar is engaged.
Release depth stake pin, pull stake up for depth. Place stake pin in hole to lock.
Destroy weeds between rows to prevent them from robbing nourishment. Lower side shields.
Store tiller in a dry area. Drain fuel tank and run engine. Drain oil while warm.
Adjust belt tension by sliding cable clip screw for 5/8 inch stretch.
Replace worn tines to maintain tilling performance. Check for sharpness, wear, and bending.
