Why my Husqvarna LTH1738 will not start?
    • K
      Kathryn JohnsonAug 18, 2025
If your Husqvarna Lawn Mower won't start, several factors could be at play. Start by checking if the fuel tank is full. If it is, make sure the engine is properly choked. If the engine is flooded, wait a few minutes before trying again. Other potential issues include a bad spark plug (which should be replaced), a dirty air filter (clean or replace it), a dirty fuel filter (replace it), or water in the fuel (empty the tank and carburetor, refill with fresh gasoline, and replace the fuel filter). Also, inspect for loose or damaged wiring. If none of these steps work, the engine valves may be out of adjustment, requiring assistance from an authorized service center.

      mooreamyAug 20, 2025
If your Husqvarna Lawn Mower is hard to start, there are several things you can check. First, see if the air filter is dirty and clean or replace it. A bad spark plug can also cause this, so replace it if necessary. Additionally, check the battery; if it's weak or dead, recharge or replace it. A dirty fuel filter or stale fuel could also be the culprit, so replace the fuel filter and empty the fuel tank, refilling it with fresh, clean gas. Finally, inspect for loose or damaged wiring. If these steps don't resolve the issue, the engine valves may be out of adjustment, requiring attention from an authorized service center.

What to do if my Husqvarna LTH1738 Lawn Mower engine will not turn over?
    • D
      Duane Robertson Jr.Aug 26, 2025
If your Husqvarna Lawn Mower engine won't turn over, make sure the brake pedal is depressed and the attachment clutch is disengaged. Also, check the battery; if it's weak or dead, recharge or replace it. A blown fuse can also prevent the engine from turning over, so replace the fuse if necessary. Corroded battery terminals can also cause this issue, so clean them. Additionally, check for loose or damaged wiring, a faulty ignition switch (check or replace it), or a faulty solenoid or starter (check or replace them). If none of these solutions work, there may be a faulty operator presence switch(es), and you should contact an authorized service center.

Why does my Husqvarna LTH1738 have poor cut - uneven?
    • J
      Justin JacksonAug 28, 2025
If your Husqvarna Lawn Mower is giving an uneven cut, it could be due to a worn, bent, or loose blade. Replace the blade and tighten the blade bolt. Another potential cause is that the mower deck isn't level, so level the mower deck. Buildup of grass, leaves, or trash under the mower can also lead to an uneven cut, so clean the underside of the mower housing. Additionally, a bent blade mandrel can cause this issue, so replace the blade mandrel. Finally, check for clogged mower deck vent holes and clean around the mandrels to open them.
