How to fix a Husqvarna Lawn Mower that will not start?
    • B
      Brianna GriffinJul 26, 2025
If your Husqvarna Lawn Mower won't start, several factors could be the cause. Start by checking if the fuel tank is empty and fill it if needed. Ensure the engine is properly choked according to the Operation section. If the engine is flooded, wait a few minutes before trying again. Other potential issues include a bad spark plug (replace it), a dirty air filter (clean or replace it), a dirty fuel filter (replace it), or water in the fuel (empty the tank and carburetor, refill with fresh gasoline, and replace the fuel filter). Also, check for loose or damaged wiring. If none of these steps work, the engine valves may be out of adjustment, requiring assistance from an authorized service center.

If your Husqvarna Lawn Mower engine won't turn over, make sure the brake pedal is depressed and the attachment clutch is disengaged. Check for a weak or dead battery (recharge or replace it), a blown fuse (replace it), or corroded battery terminals (clean them). Also, inspect for loose or damaged wiring, a faulty ignition switch (check/replace it), or a faulty solenoid or starter (check/replace them). If the issue persists, the operator presence switch(es) might be faulty, requiring assistance from an authorized service center.
