8. Operate the forward and rearward pedals for 4 – 5
seconds.
9. Fill the transmission oil tank if it is necessary.
10. Release the pedals.
11. Operate the forward and rearward pedals. Make
sure that the wheels start to turn immediately.
12. Move the product on the adjustment tool for wheel
speed and do a test.
13. Fill the transmission oil tank if it is necessary.
14. Attach the transmission cover.
9.5.12 Transmissions
9.5.12.1 To disassemble the front transmission
Do not disassemble the tool frame.
Obey the instructions in
To keep the hydraulic system
clean on page 41
.
CAUTION: Hold the hydraulic connection nuts
with a wrench to prevent damage to the pipes or
elbow nipples.
Note: Oil leakage from pipes and hoses can occur
although the transmission is drained.
1. Remove the cutting deck. Refer to

2. Put support below the product. Refer to

3. Remove the front wheels. Refer to
To remove and
install the wheels on page 25
.
4. Remove the front speed adjustment rod from the
front transmission.
5. Drain the oil.
6. Disconnect the hydraulic pipes from below the front
transmission and attach protective plugs.
7. Remove the front left footrest plate. Refer to
To
remove the covers on page 21
.
8. Disconnect the hydraulic pipe from the top of the
front transmission and attach protective plugs.
