9. Remove the parking brake cable from the front
transmission.
10. Remove the 5 screws that hold the front
transmission and lower the front transmission.
9.5.12.2 To assemble the front transmission
Obey the instructions in
To keep the hydraulic system
clean on page 41
.
CAUTION: Hold the hydraulic connection nuts
with a wrench to prevent damage to the pipes or
elbow nipples.
1. Assemble the front transmission in opposite
sequence. Refer to
To disassemble the front
transmission on page 44
.
2. Tighten the left side bearing.
3. Tighten the screws that hold the front transmission.
4. Tighten the screws for the right side bearing.
5. Attach the front speed adjustment rod.
6. Lightly lubricate the pipe couplings before you
assemble.
7. Lubricate the axles with corrosion protection before
you attach the wheels.
Note: The spacer sleeves in the wheels have
different lengths. Left: 36.3 mm + washer. Right:
45.5 mm, no washer. Do not mix up with the rear
axle spacer sleeves.
8. Fill the transmission oil tank with oil and bleed the
hydraulic system. Refer to
To bleed the drive system
on page 43
.
9. Do a check of and adjust the parking brake cable.

.
10. Do a check of and adjust speed coordination
between the front wheels and rear wheels. Refer to
To adjust the wheel speed on AWD products on
page 50
.
