your expectations and provides long-term, reliable performance, please read and follow this
instruction manual carefully.

Clean only with a dry cloth. Unplug from power supply before cleaning.
Do not use this product near water and avoid any exposure to water.
Position the product in a safe and stable place for operation, out of reach of
unauthorized persons.
Make sure any cable connections to and from the product are neither subject to potentially
destructive mechanical impact nor present any risk of stumbling or other accident risk
to people.
Audio equipment may generate sound pressure levels sufficient to cause permanent
hearing damage to persons. Always start up at low volume settings and avoid prolonged
exposure to sound pressure levels exceeding 90dB.
Do not open this product for service purposes. There are no user-serviceable
parts inside.
Warranty will be void in any case of unauthorized service by the user or other not
authorized persons.
DESCRIPTION
The OPAL-22 is a dual channel USB audio interface and provides a USB 2.0-equipped
computer with two channels of analog audio input and output, phantom power, and direct
monitoring with a dedicated monitoring level control. It includes two professional quality mic
preamps and 24-bit / 96kHz analog-to-digital and digital-to-analog converters.

SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS AND COMPATIBILITY

Apple Macintosh with a high-speed USB 2.0-compliant USB port
OS: Mac OS X 10.8 or later (Mountain Lion)
CPU/Clock: 1.5 GHz or higher (Intel/Dual 1.5 GHz or better recommended)
Memory (RAM): 1 GB minimum
Windows
Windows compatible computer with a USB 2.0-compliant USB port
OS: Windows 8 (all versions apart from Windows RT) Windows 7 (all versions)
CPU/Clock: Pentium or AMD, 1.5 GHz or higher (Dual 1.5 GHz recommended)
Memory (RAM): 1 GB minimum
Note that the OPAL-22 is bus-powered. Your PC must be able to supply sufficient power,
which could be compromised by the connection of any or too many other bus-powered
USB devices. Disconnect other devices in case of doubt.
