Corrective Action
Make sure release button is seated.
Secure uid hose to hose clips.
Adjust and retighten cable hold-down wing nut.
Release the spray gun trigger lock.
Reassemble head.
Readjust spray gun.
Clean cable wire.
Adjust stando.
Replace wire or remote trigger.
Check and repair spray gun.
Disengage spray gun trigger lock.
Remove gun mount and reinstall following proper procedure.
Depress locking lever on pole mount while removing the spray
gun mount.
Clean paint buildup before removing the spray gun housing.
Loosen locking collar knob.
Disengage trigger.
Loosen locking collar, slightly extend telescoping pole, tighten
locking collar, and pull lever. Note: Do not push tube into pole while
jammed. This can cause further jamming.
Replace telescoping pole.
Clean tube.
Repair or replace tube.
Repair or replace latch assembly.
Engage spray gun safety. Loosen small wing nut on cable clamp,
gently pull cable until stando is approximately 1/16-inch (1.6 mm)
from spray gun trigger, then tighten the wing nut.
Loosen locking collar, slightly extend pole, and tighten locking collar.
Align hole in the spray gun mount connector housing with the latch
lever on the pole.
Depress locking lever on pole while inserting the spray gun mount.
Probable Cause
a. Release button not seated.
b. Fluid hose is not secured by hose clips.
a. Cable hold-down wing nut is not secure or is out of adjustment
b. Spray gun trigger lock is in the locked position.
a. Head assembly set up for incorrect spray gun.

c. Paint buildup on cable wire.

Some ratcheting will be noticeable. This is normal, primarily on
longer models. This should not become a cause of concern as long
as spray pole functions properly.
a. Spray gun mount connector housing not oriented the right way.
b. Not depressing locking lever while inserting the spray gun mount.
c. Gun mount connector not properly engaged in pole.
