uptowardsthelightsource.

2. Adjustthefootcandleswitchbetweenthex1,x10,andx100settingstofindtheproperreading.
Thedisplaywillreachamaximum point
anddisplay“1”ifthemeasuredlightsourceistoo
intenseandoneormorezerosifalowersettingisneeded.Atthispointadjusttheswitchtoa
higherorlowersettingsothatanaccuratereadingmaybeobtained.

3. Multiplythenumberonthedisplayby
whicheversettingisusedi.e.x1,x10,andx100.The
productistheamountoffootcandlesatthelocationofthephotosensor.

ReplacingtheBattery:
1. Makesurethepowerswitchisinthe“OFF”position.

2. Slidethecoveroffoftheunitinthedirectionindicatedbythe“OPEN”arrows.
