The MRC-E250 is designed for ease of integration into e-bike systems. The manual emphasizes the importance of using proper bicycle tools for installation and removal, and strictly adhering to assembly steps to prevent permanent damage. Key components for installation include M6 Hex socket security bolts, anti-rotation flange nuts, and M5 button-head hex socket screws. The installation process involves peeling a sticker from the motor's left side, installing the disc, fastening screws to a maximum torque of 4.5 Nm, installing and fastening the cassette sprocket and locking ring, mounting the motor onto the rear wheel, and finally inserting the torque washer and fastening the flange nut to a maximum torque of 11 Nm. The motor's cable connects to the controller, ensuring proper communication and power transfer within the e-bike system.

Maintenance Features:

The MRC-E250 is described as maintenance-free, simplifying long-term ownership. However, general care guidelines are provided to ensure its longevity and proper functioning.

If original packaging is unavailable, solid cartons with protective materials like bubble wrap or soft cloth, labeled "Fragile," are recommended. The product should not be stored at ambient temperatures above 70°C (158°F) or below -20°C (-4°F). To prevent sunlight damage, the product should be covered if stored for more than a week.
Handling: Avoid placing heavy items on the product or any e-system component. Do not drop the product from heights greater than 30cm (11.81 inches). When transporting, avoid loading or moving the product in the rain whenever possible, and ensure it is free of moisture or mildew before loading.
Safety: Always turn off the e-bike system and remove the battery before installing, disassembling, or modifying any components. Do not immerse the product or any e-system component in water, and keep it away from fire or heat. All component leads must use original Hyena components. The product is not intended for use at ambient temperatures outside the -10°C to 50°C range.

The manual also highlights that the e-system drive unit, including the motor, controller, battery, speed sensor, HMI, accessories, and packaging, must be disposed of in an environmentally correct manner, in accordance with Directive 2012/19/EU.
