Your Hyundai engine might not start due to several reasons. It could be a flat or faulty battery, in which case you should check and recharge it, or replace it if needed. Corroded or loose connections to the battery terminals can also be a culprit; clean and tighten them, replacing parts if heavily corroded. Other potential causes include incorrect injection pump timing (check and correct it), deposits or water in the fuel tank (clean the hoses and injection pump, remove water and refuel), or simply no fuel in the tank (refuel). Also, consider the possibility of no power supply (overhaul or replace the fuel or transfer pump), air bubbles in the fuel lines (check hoses and fuel pump, eliminate air), or a faulty starter motor (repair or replace it).
