Warnings
Fill the trap with water before firing the boiler to prevent exhaust fumes form
entering the room. Never operate the boiler unless the trap is filled with water.
Ensure all trap fittings are tightened to prevent leakage of flue gas.
Notes
Pipe condensate drain within 1" of a drain or connect to a condensate pump.
Slope the drainage line down to the drain at a pitch of ¼"/Ft, so that the
condensate runs towards the drain.
Checking, cleaning, and filling the condensate trap every 2 months is
important.
