Handling Memory Expansion Cards
Static electricity can damage memory cards and
modules. This is the same kind of static
electricity that make a spark when you touch a
doorknob after walking on a carpet. The cards
that are sensitive, come wrapped in a plastic bag.
Before you remove the adapter card from its bag:
1. Hold the card (still wrapped in the bag) in
one hand and with your other hand hold the
metal portion of a screwdriver or other metal
object.
