latching
mechanism

you

moving

lever

lever
down

it
up
to
Position
3.
Note:
Remember
the
carriage
cannot
be
locked
properly
if
the
power
is
off.
After
you
have
changed
the
cartridge,
you
will
need
to
do
the
ink
pumping
operation
as
explained
in
“Ink

Pumping”
on
page
3-30.

you
will
need
to
verify
the
print
operation
by
using
the
procedure
explained
in
“Print
Verification”
