Installing PeerMaster Software for Novell NetWare
Before installing these programs, make sure that the installation of
NetFinity Services and the PeerMaster adapters is completely
installed.
Note: A README file is present in the directory of the diskette
\NETFINTY\NETWARE for installation instructions.
The NetFinity program files on your PeerMaster Server Adapter
Option Diskette support the following versions of Novell NetWare:
Novell NetWare Version 3.1x and 4.x
The following two files are in the NETFINTY/NETWARE directory
of the PeerMaster Server Adapter Option Diskette that comes with
your adapter.
MONPC4BT.NLM
This file is the NetFinity base monitor for MXPCI4BT.NLM that
monitors the traditional operation of the PeerMaster adapter and
provides Ethernet information.
MONVNET.NLM
This file is the NetFinity base monitor for VNET.LAN that
monitors the switching operations of the PeerMaster adapters.
Assumptions:
1. Your PeerMaster adapters are installed and fully
operational.
2. The NetFinity Services and NetWare Server programs
that come with NetFinity are installed and fully
operational. You should be able to monitor the basic
operations and configuration of your server at this time.
