Installing PeerMaster LAN Software
To install the programs, follow this procedure:
1. Insert the PeerMaster Server Adapter Option Diskette that
comes with your PeerMaster adapter into the diskette drive of
the server.
2. Make the directory current where the NetFinity program files
for your PeerMaster adapter is located, for example,
CD A:\NETFINTY\NETWARE
3. Change the directory so that the NetFinity default directory and
drive for installation is C:\NETFINTY. Your installation may
be different.
4. Copy the program files for your PeerMaster adapter into the
NETFINTY directory on the server, for example,
COPY A:. C:.
5. Restart the server to load the new program files.
You can now monitor the functions of your PeerMaster adapters
from NetFinity Manager.

Monitoring Your PeerMaster Adapter
The PeerMaster monitor programs expand the capability of the
NetFinity Services installed on your server. This section describes
these services. For information about the basic operation of
NetFinity, refer to the documentation that comes with it.
If you are installing a PeerMaster adapter in a server that is running
Novell NetWare, you can only gather data from the server from an
OS/2 or Windows system running NetFinity Manager. NetFinity
Services is not available locally on systems running Novell NetWare.
Remote System Manager
The Remote System Manager on your NetFinity Manager system
allows you to monitor the configuration and operation of remote
systems that have been recognized by NetFinity. If your server has
not been discovered by NetFinity, perform the following steps:
