4. Pull the cover and circuit breaker assembly from the PDP.
5. Remove the 2 screws holding the cover to the circuit breaker.
6. If a circuit breaker with the same current rating is to be reinstalled, go to “Installing the system
component circuit breakers in the PDP” on page 37 and follow steps “2” on page 38 - 3.
7. Secure the circuit breaker by using the screw that you removed in step 3.
8. If you are replacing a circuit breaker, go to “Powering on the DC-powered system components” on
page 43.
9. If you are installing a new circuit breaker with a different rating, go to “Installing the system
component circuit breakers in the PDP” on page 37.
10. If you are not installing a circuit breaker, install the circuit breaker cover by using the screw that you
removed in step 3.
11. Remove the current and EIA labels that are above the location from which the circuit breakers were
removed.
12. Repeat steps 1 - 11 for all the circuit breakers that you want to remove.
Removing the system component power cables from the PDP
To remove the -48V DC system component power cables from the PDP, use the following steps.
About this task
Note: Some system components may have the power supply identied alphabetically versus numerically.
Note: The device to be removed may only require either the A or B side circuit breaker to device cable to
be removed.
